What we build
Files Converter is a collection of focused tools for PDFs, images, media, text, developer tasks, SEO, and QR workflows. Each published tool has a defined purpose and a working browser-based engine.
We prefer useful, predictable tools over inflated feature counts. A tool is published only when its processing can run on the user’s device without sending the file to Files Converter.
How file processing works
When you choose a file, the browser reads and processes it locally. The file contents are not posted to our application server. Some advanced engines may download code components when first used, but your selected file remains on your device.
The website may record limited, anonymous events such as a page visit, a tool start, completion, or download. These events do not contain the file itself.
How the service is supported
Free access may be supported by advertising. Optional paid plans may add convenience features such as an ad-free experience or saved preferences. Advertising and account features are kept separate from file processing.
